My position is that if a person makes threats behind an electronic mask, what makes them capable of physically facing you? When did expertise in Photoshop turn into expertise in dealing harm? Competent enemies plan in secret.
And another thing, what the hell could you say in a tech blog that would invite death threats?
Those are two things featured over at LFNKR (Life Funds for North Korean Refugees).
LFNKR interviewed five orphans in China. Some of their mothers have been caught and repatriated back to North Korea. They were abandoned by their Chinese father who could not or would would not support them. They have to hide from Chinese authorities because of their status and none of them have access to education.
Two weeks ago, LFNKR posted an account of a fact finding mission in Thailand to highlight the challenges of refugees hiding there. Although they believe that Thailand treats them relatively well, they still have issues such as language and overcrowding.
